Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner to host panel on The power of PETs: Privacy enhancing technologies

TORONTO, ON (January 21, 2025) – Patricia Kosseim, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, is hosting a panel discussion about the adoption of privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) to mark Data Privacy Day on January 28, 2025. The panel will include information, privacy and security experts from the public, private and health sectors.

Participants will gain a better understanding of how these technologies work and how they can be applied in practice to support data innovation in a privacy-protective way. They will gain insights into which PETs are suitable for particular use cases and how to overcome adoption challenges.
