The Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC) will be hosting a special event at Queen’s University on May 4 as part of the IPC’s Reaching Out to Ontario outreach program. Commissioner Brian Beamish and other IPC leaders will use this occasion to update Eastern Ontarians on the emerging access and privacy issues facing the province’s health and public sectors.

This informative event will feature a variety of discussion topics, including, but not limited to: the burgeoning challenges of conducting business on personal devices; protecting patient privacy; recent developments in access to information; and whether cloud computing services are suitable for institutions’ information management needs.

We cordially invite you to join us in Kingston and be a part of this very important discussion.
